Brother printer print test page but not a document

I have the same problem as Roderick65. The test page is from the printer itself. Yes the pc says it's ok but the PDF document I have does not print. Also when I screen shot the document, put it in to Word and Paint it still would not print . Please help.

Make sure the USB cable connects between the PC and the printer. Also make sure you have installed the correct drivers for the printer in Windows and make sure that Windows shows the printer available.
