So I delidded my i7 8700k and used liquid metal, and it mostly did it's magic. The only problem now is that I get a BSOD every now and then. It's usually when i'm playing games like CSGO. It happens when im like about 10 mins into my game and it gives me a BSOD. I did overclock my CPU to 5GHz and changed the voltage to 1.285v. I don't think i'm under-volting it since im able to get a few benchmarks in cinebench without it giving me a BSOD. I changed the core voltage around before, testing from 1.34v to 1.27v and 1.285v-1.29 seemed the most stable to me (just crashed less when id use cinebench). But I still get the BSOD every now and then and it's annoying. I never got the BSOD before I delidded my CPU and I don't think I put it on wrong either, the only thing I didn't do was relid my CPU with a glue or gasket maker, I just put the PCB and IHS into the socket, made sure it was straightened out and put it on like that. I've been googling for the past few days why it's been giving me BSODs but no straightforward answers. Any help?

After I wake up tomorrow, im gonna see if there's any responses that'll help. If not, i'm gonna delid the CPU again and re-apply the liquid metal again and try to put a little more liquid metal, because i do remember someone suggesting that it may be too little liquid metal, in which I think is kinda nuts but not sure. If it still keeps crashing, im gonna try regular thermal paste and see if that does any wonders.
