Question BSOD after updating Standard NVM Express Controller

Got a new HP Probook with Win 11 and used a bootable usb to revert back to Win 10. Did all the normal stuff until it was time for driver updates.

Restarting after updating them caused a BSOD with INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

Couldn't boot back into Windows so reinstalled it (forgot to set a restore point). Got back to the same place after a while and created a restore point this time. Suspected that it was likely because of the storage drivers and updated everything besides 2 of them. Then once it didn't blue screen I narrowed it down to 1 driver in particular.

It's called Standard NVM Express Controller and the current driver version 10.0.19041.4355 and date is 2006. It happens when I update it to the 2022 version.

I have no idea why this happens. Is anyone able explain why this happens? And is there a way to fix this or do I have to avoid updating that driver ever again.

If you need more information I'll be happy to provide it for you.
