Hi,
Im looking for help and advice on what could be the issue with my friends PC.
Its brand new, here are the specs:
1x Intel Core i5 6400
2x Corsair Value Select CMV8GX4M1A2133C15 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4
1x ASRock H110M-HDS-R3.0 Motherboard
1x MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Armor OC 6GB
1x Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB SSD
Windows 7 Home.
The power supply is an older Silverstone Strider Plus 600W ST60F-P salvaged from his old PC, and the cooler is a Noctua NH-U12S.
Nothing is overclocked or tweaked, its straight stock on everything. However Im posting here because I believe it may have to do with power or maybe the configuration of hardware.
The PC started to BSOD a few weeks after it was built, it would BSOD within 30 mins of normal usage, and the game CSGO would crash or BSOD within a few minutes.
I got him to reinstall the drivers and it stopped the BSOD from normal usage, but still BSOD after about 10 minutes in CSGO.
He did the Windows memtest and memtest86 and it passed.
I got him to run Prime95 test "In-place large FFTs", within a few minutes he would get "FATAL ERROR: Round was 0.4985325246, expected less than 0.4" and "FATAL ERROR: Final result was 00000000, expected CB8D21BD" and so on.
We would appreciate any suggestions on possible issues and solutions greatly!
Thanks.
