My PC keeps bsod between 5-10 minutes after every startup. The bsod error message varies and seems like everyone is different. Once the error msg read "irql not less or equal". Some internet posts say to uninstall antivirus software (already did). But it just keeps blue screening.

Event viewer had an error message about the cdrom and nvidia. I installed new nvidia drivers. removed cables to cdrom and removed it from bios. Still get random bsod.

Thinking about wiping out OS and starting over, but hate to do that if there is an easy fix.

I have xml file from event viewer, but not sure how to attach xml file from event viewer.

"Is there anyway to uninstall all drivers? I tried to find my chipset drivers but can't seem to find them in device manager or in programs... is there anything out there that will just wipe the drivers out?"

No. Only way to do all is to re-install Windows from scratch. Drivers need to be specified to uninstall.

Try booting into safe mode (F8 as pc boots up), and negotiate to Control Panel > Device Manager. Then under each hardware item, right click and Uninstall. Do not uninstall any harddisk that Windows is running from - chances are it won't let you anyway.

Since pc is from storage, re-insert the RAM sticks. Ensure you hear a distinct click as each end goes in. No click sound probably means not inserted properly, and you will have...
"irql not less or equal" BSOD messages nearly always point to a driver-software issue.

So ask yourself, what was the last driver or software you installed? Uninstall it. You could check with msconfig.exe to see what software is being loaded up during and post-start up.

This PC has been in the corner for the past 2.5 years. I am just now taking it out and pulling off the cobwebs to use it as a htpc in one of the bedrooms. So I can't recall.

Basically, I started it up. Everything was working fine. Then it bsod. I thought - hmm... that's interesting. But it keeps doing it and I can't recall what hardware I installed before putting it in the corner to collect dust.
