I've been getting this bsod over and over and I don't have a solution to fix it despite all the research I've done on it

Pc specs:
i5 6600k OC to 4.3 GHz
8gb ddr4 2133 memory
GTX 970

Solution
I would start by running MEMTEST86 for a full pass. www.memtest86.com

Also set the CPU back to default settings, and the memory to "XMP" profile.

If that doesn't solve the issue, stay with those default settings until the problem is fixed.

The NEXT thing I'd try is to do an In-Place Upgrade:

1) download MS media creation tool (just Google)
2) insert 8GB+ USB drive
3) run the above tool to download and create W10 install media (need latest version so can't use an old disc)

4) run "setup.exe" from that stick and follow instructions (should not delete apps or data)

That should overwrite some key files which MAY fix your issue.
