Bsod help

i have installed new ram. removed old and replaced with new
8g total 4g in slot 1 4g in slot 3 it boots just fine and runs for a little bit and the bsod's saying memory_management
please help

What motherboard and memory? Did you configure it as per the specs?

msi 790FX-GD70
and corsair xms3 16g total
and im not sure kinda new at this

Are you running it at the rated voltage and timings? If you have the 1.5v kit, you may have to increase the voltage a bit to get it stable.

i got a 16kit but it will not boot with all 4 sticks in

Install 2 modules and check the configuration. Change it to meet the specs and then install all 4 modules. It also is possible that the kit isn't compatible with your motherboard. Did you check compatibility before buying?

it says compatable with intel and amd im not sure what eles to look for i tryed to find a listing of compatable ram for the mb but couldnt find it

Check the memory voltage and timings in the BIOS or use CPU-Z, Memory tab, to check the timings. You need to check the voltage in the BIOS. You can set the memory to manual and then set the voltage and timings as per the specs.
