[SOLVED] BSOD never ending agony

So the past month or so my BSOD (mostly KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED) have become more and more frequent, with it happening ~3 times yesterday. I've updated all my drivers, downloaded every windows update imaginable and even removed some updates and it just happened again. scansfc and chkdsk to no avail. memtest also shows no error. bluescreenview shows ntoskrnl.exe+3f6c90 but that is just the OS I believe.

I have the past 3 minidumps and my msinfo detail in this onedrive folder if anyone can help take a look.

NTOSKRNL = windows kernel. It handles all driver requests, power management, and memory management. It sits between Hardware and Applications. It got blamed but its not the cause

i see you ran memory tester?
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

latest chipset drivers? https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/x570
latest bios? you are on 13, the latest version is 16

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/wn8xoevf/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.
File information:060721-10500-01.dmp (Jun 7 2021 - 20:56:01)
Bugcheck:KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1E)
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process: chrome.exe)

There is a BIOS update available for your system. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Just looking at victims 1st reaction is lan drivers. Do you use WIFI?

They are up to date or seem to be, could run intel updater (since i see it there) and check if newer as I got some this month. I have a Aorus X570 WIFI so probably similar chips.

might be newer version of ryzen master, just open it, go into settings and click update
Apr 01 2020AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sysAMD Ryzen Master driver

Dec 16 2020wintun.sysWintun Driver (WireGuard LLC)
Apr 21 2016tap0901.sysTAP-Win32 Virtual Private Network Driver 0901 (OpenVPN by OpenVPN Technologies) https://openvpn.net/
try updating your VPN software, i assume these are part of something. WIntune is part of wireguard which is/was vpn software, not sure about tap. I have seen it before though.

Just going from a hunch as most of your drivers looks fairly normal

I am using a wifi adapter and my motherboard also has a built in wifi adapter. I've had both updated to the newest drivers. Most recent BSOD is an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Updated VPN software as well, although it isn't in use when BSOD happens.
minidump files updated with 2 recent ones

Please provide a link each time to the dump(s), and remove the old ones first (you did remove the old ones). It just makes it easier for me to find. Thanks.

Sorry about not replying sooner, I have had an interesting week

KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_LOCK_ACQUISITION_WITH_RAISED_IRQL (192) mentioning dwm.exe made me think it was GPU drivers.
DWM.exe = windows desktop manager, sites between applications and GPU drivers

ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY dump tells me its GPU drivers. Mentions DIrectX, that is almost always GPU drivers

IRQL error - being in Occulus rift probably also points at GPU drivers.

try running ddu in safe mode and reinstall Nvidia drivers - https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq...n-install-of-your-video-card-drivers.2402269/

Thank you! Will attempt this and report back if BSOD continues.

Hi, revisiting this. I have since:
Replaced RAM
Replaced Graphics card *tested multiple versions of nvidia drivers with ddu clean installs
Replaced Hard Drive, Reinstalled fresh copy of windows 10
Replaced PSU
After each step, BSOD persists, although most of the time it does not create minidumps now. Usually it goes to a black screen after a 1 second BSOD. Tried adjusting to small memory dump, same thing.
Occasionally it does create the minidump--most recent 3 dumps here and msinfo file:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmK_p8yINdX1oQBJO1b-uUf1kofk?e=7xcBmQ

Any suggestions?

what are specs of the PC?

Dumps only show so much
CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
MB - MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI (is a new beta bios but I don't know what it adds, probably more for series 5 CPU
RAM was G Skill F4-3200C14-8GFX

you can fill in the gaps

run this on cpu - https://www.mersenne.org/download/
Prime 95 how to Guide: http://www.playtool.com/pages/prime95/prime95.html

there are no tests for Motherboard, you replace/test everything else and if its all okay, it sort of leaves no other choices.

all 3 BSOD all happened in the same location in ram. Its possible its the same driver each time or its hardware.

I know you replaced the ram but it could be the motherboard slots. I would test bother 1 stick and 2 with memtest
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

very least it will clear the motherboard slots. Problem has to be something you didn't replace.

Did you run Prime 95? It will test CPU & Ram as well.
