[SOLVED] BSOD ntoskrnl.exe+3f72e0 - Please HELP!

Solution
2nd crash caused by GPU drivers
Mentions DirectX and almost every time it is mentioned in a crash, the cause is GPU drivers.
I was going to guess latest Nvidia drivers until I saw your card
Your drivers aren't that old

try running DDU and reinstall drivers - https://forums.tomshardware.com/faq...n-install-of-your-video-card-drivers.2402269/

Update Intel Management Engine Firmware, it should match BIOS version or at least, be similar age
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H510M-S2H-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver-chipset

It doesn't say anything in the manual so have to assume using slot 1 for 1 stick of ram is okay, on boards with more than 2 slots its often the 2nd slot that needs to be used for one stick... just thought I check.

if you getting similar errors on 2 installs, it might be hardware
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it

Hello I have the same problem in a clean installation of W10 and W11 with the same error, in a brand new PC - I5 - 16Gb Ram -, M2 Disk, RX 560 and Gigabyte Mobo, I leave my Minidump files, thanks in advance.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_1GgE-L5N5IwU7ba-KkmaNs2eN46FHvy/view?usp=sharing

i had the same exact error code but my problem is most likely the ram. i did a memtest 86 to prove that it was in fact my newly purchased ram that was faulty. maybe do a test? heres my dump files in case.

<mod edit: dump links removed>

Thanks for the help, I have already made the suggested settings but the BSOD continues.

I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/p5skg301/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

File information:011922-8515-01.dmp (Jan 19 2022 - 10:14:45)
Bugcheck:KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (139)
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process running at time of crash: svchost.exe)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 3 Hour(s), 51 Min(s), and 22 Sec(s)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/H510M-S2H-rev-10
You have the latest BIOS already installed.

Colif should reply later with additional ideas. This information can be used by others to help you. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Edit: Results for 2nd dump that was posted later: https://jsfiddle.net/6su1hmvf/show

Gigabyte H510M S2H
16gb CB16GU2666.C8ET - passes memtest
M2 Disk - what make/model?
RX 560
What else?
What Power supply?

BSOD isn't offering me any clues.

SSD 250GB Western Digital SN550 Blue M.2 NVMe PCIe X4 3.0

Power Supply Cooler Master 550 is the oldest component of PC about 7 years.

Nothing else.

I changed the power supply but the bsods continue, I would like to know if I have to claim my motherboard
Its difficult to tell if its motherboard from crash results, generally check everything else first
try running this on CPU - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/19792/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html?
run the tests here on ssd - https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?lang=en&p=279
ram checked
PSU swapped
slaps intel for removing igpu cores, otherwise would have suggested running without GPU to see if it helped.

tbh, if its at stage you think it might by Motherboard, I would get PC looked at by repair shop. they can swap parts in they know work to isolate the cause.

CPU Test all OK.
M2 Disk test all OK
CPU is I5 10400F No GPU on Board.

I'm going on vacation for 15 days, when I get back I'll see if I claim my motherboard, thanks for your help
