Hello all, I've been having issues with this system from the start but recently I've been getting the BSOD a lot and having random programs constantly crash on me. I have already tried a system restore a while back which did not solve the problem, and the save before the first BSOD is unreasonably far back. Along with that I have also been getting two Asus setup errors pop up everytime I log in. I did just buy two extra sticks of ram but they were installed after the issues started. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
bugcheck 0x1a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
with error code BCP1: 0000000000041790
0x41790 = A page table page has been corrupted

a page table hold the mapping between physical memory to virtual memory (pagefile.sys)
something corrupted that table, It could be a ram problem, it could be a cpu problem or driver or malware.
it can even be the SATA driver if a process is paged to virtual memory and is changed when it is paged back into ram.
(update the motherbord chipset drivers and any third party SATA driver, run crystaldiskinfo.exe on the drive to look at the SMART error info on the drive itself)

I would start by checking the ram with memtest86. I would update the BIOS or reset it to defaults to get the best default memory timings. Otherwise...
It says there is a problem detected with the memory but gives no further information. How do I go about fixing this?

try using different ram sticks. if you don't have any try borrowing from a friend or something. if you plug in different ram and it doesn`t give you the error anymore you know the problem is that the sticks are faulty. i am not sure if you can fix errors in your ram.

What about the Asus setup errors? Could I just unplug all but one stick of ram and keep running mem test while adding extra sticks until it gives me an error?

i guess that could work. good luck

We have experienced this problem with Asus motherboards.
I recommend you change to Gigabyte or intel motherboard.

By doing this change, many of the issues you experience will not happen anymore.
I did this change, and haven't had a problem since...

Newest Problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\061216-26925-01.dmp
This is caused by incompatible drivers.

But change the motherboard, and save yourself $150 worth of aggravation.
