Question BSOD Stuck at 0% error collecting ?

I have a hp pavilion 15 laptop and I'm having irregular but frequent (at least once in a week, sometimes twice in a day) BSOD's. The stop code is WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR I want to troubleshoot but unfortunately error collecting always gets stuck at 0%. I force restart the computer. No minidump file is generated. I want to solve this problem but I don't know how to proceed ?

Edit:

I tried using HP System Diagnositcs. The result shows that Short DST Check failed. However, I am confused whether the SSD or HDD is broken. Model: SAMSUNG ... suggests that SSD is erronous.

However, I tried to run the test seperately for the Hard Drives.

I tested with option 1 (HDD), and the diagnostics tool gave an error with SSD model (seems contradictory because have chosen 1)

I tested with option 2 (SSD), diagnostics didn't show any error.

At this point, I am fairly confused. I am not even sure if the BSOD is caused by the hard drives but other fast diagnostics didn't show any error. (Windows is on the SSD).

Thanks for any help

Considering that the OS is on the SSD, then removing the HDD from the laptop will not hinder your boot to OS GUI. See what removing the HDD yields. That way you can narrow down if the SSD is the one that's corrupt.

I opened the cover and It seems like I have a hybrid drive. Am I right? This may explain the contradictory looking images above. Is it possible to make sure that the BSOD is happening due to this drive? A new ssd would be costly but if I have to buy one, I will. Also, I don't have any problems with the pc other than BSODs but I'm afraid the pc won't open at all at one point.

Edit:

I was wrong, I found the SSD but it's smaller than o thought.

First of all, thank you for the help.

I removed the HDD and system test passed.

I'll see if I get any BSOD's in the future. It still bugs me that HDD gave the error with SSD's model. Also, is it possible for HDD to cause BSOD while the OS is installed on the SSD?

consider this: your solid state drive will run hot, if it overheats it can stop responding. When it stops responding windows will reset the storage interface. if the drive does not respond in 30 second windows will call a bugcheck. if the drive does not reconnect windows can not store the minidump file.

I would blow the dust out of the fans/heat sink and make sure the fan exhaust does not get blocked.
I would also go into bios and make sure that the sata ports have hot swap enabled. You would never remove this device with the power on but you need hot swap enabled for the case where the interface is reset by windows. It will allow the device to reconnect without turning the power all the way off.

Otherwise, the device will look like it failed while it is too hot, and may continue to fail after it is cooled down until the power is cycled (depending on the sata port settings) After the power cycle the device would pass tests.

Can you show screenshots from HDtune - health tab?
(with HDD connected)

HD Tune health tab is blank for some reason. I connected the HDD externally via usb instead of connecting to the HDD slot. Does that make a difference? It's difficult to open the laptop case.

I also tried Crystal Disk Info. It showed some errors.

I also tried Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for Windows. SMART status is not available, short test passed.

Used SeaTools, both SMART and Short DST failed (HDD is HGTS Travelstar).

I replaced the drive. System diagnostics was showing no error after that and I thought the problem was solved. However, I had two BSOD's today. Unfortunately, it seems like the problem is somewhere else. I'm clueless about what it may be though.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop

Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows

Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)

Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Automatic memory dump option was previously selected and Windows wasn't able to create a minidump then. I selected small memory dump now and I'm waiting for the next BSOD to see if Minidump will be sucessfully created. Thanks for the response.

Error collecting is still stuck at 0% and Minindump file is not being generated. Hence, I cannot send dump files. Is there anything that I can do to identify the problem. Thank you. (System language is Turkish)

What does that screen say iin English please.
It says "Your system encountered an error and needs to be restarted. Information about the error is being collected now. You can restart after that's completed. 0% Complete. "

It's always stuck at 0% though. So I always restart via power button after a while.

You need to try a repair, get there what ever way you can.

Another is using sfc.

I tried both SFC and DISM and none of them found any corruption.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it onto your
Desktop.
If your default download location is not your Desktop, drag it out of it's location onto the
Desktop.

If we have to run Farbar more than once, refer this SS.

Note:
You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log
(FRST.txt)
on the
Desktop
.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt) on the Desktop.
The logs are large, upload them using this. No time delays/Captcha-I'm not a Robot/account/registration needed. Give us the links please.
