Tcpip.sys is one of the SYS files that came with the Windows security updates which Microsoft released on April, 2011. When SYS file errors occur, they are typically caused by corrupted drivers or faulty hardware. It is worth noting that the tcpip.sys file plays an important role in various Windows functions, including the April 2011 Security Release ISO Image. So, when this SYS file gets damaged or corrupted, it can result in critical system errors like the blue screen of death (BSOD).

wouldnt win10 automatically update lan drivers?
if not, how can i update it?
its not the best to assume windows gets right drivers, or newest. It gets what is given to it, if the maker don't supply any drivers, it doesn't know they exist.
What motherboard do you have? if you don't know, is it a pre made PC or custom made?
do you use Wi-Fi or ethernet?

The website for motherboard is normally best place normally but the newest drivers here are may last year - https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-ELITE-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver-lan

so I would instead grab them direct from realtek since they made the drivers and their newest drivers are 31st december. Its 3rd link here under windows - https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software
thank you, i hope this will fix the constant BSOD
