Keep getting the BSOD or sometimes just a black screen on boot.
Specs are
Corsair TX650
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
AMD 6300 Black Edition
Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler
GTX 960 4GB
Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 8GB
Segate Hybrid 1TB drive that windows is installed on
So I was doing some cleaning and cable management in my case, and I was trying to install some more ram but I couldent get it to run at the right speed. So I took the new ram out and put everything back to where it was before and then let windows boot and I started getting the BSOD 124 error.
I have unplugged and replugged everything twice over and I'm still getting this error. The 24 pin and 2x 4 pin plugs on the mobo, the sata and power cables for the HD, 6 pin for the GFX card and 4 pin PMW CPU fan are all plugged in. I thought maybe a static discharge hurt my RAM but the windows Memory Diagnostic says its fine (have run it twice now in basic and advanced modes). Startup Repair says it cannot determine the cause of the problem.
A little lost on what to do next. Any thoughts?
To be clear this is not a heat issue, It does this from a cold start.
