Hello, I am new in this forum, used read as viewer whenever I needed suggestion, but today I am seeking help.

I have been using lenovo z50-70 series laptop for 5 years. After fresh format tried to update n install graphics driver and it became non responsive n freezes the system so I shut down forcefully.

Next when pressing power button first shows lenovo logo then windows logo and a circle and then a blue screen followed by it which says pc ran into a problem and needs to restart, and unmountable boot volume and then restarts itself and showing preparing automatic repair and a circle then showing blank screen and a mouse cursor which is moveable. It has novo button but did format then the recovery partition deleted so now novo just shows the menu.

I have access to BIOS. Tried to format with usb windows bootable drive but does not work and ended up restart and preparing automatic repair and blank screen. I tried pressing power button and f11 and immediately starts beeping (4times might be there could be more) and got scared and pressed the power button.

What to do now please help, it's lockdown in here but I have to complete my assignment, I dnt need any data to recover pls help me to make it normal. Thanks..

What do you mean by "I can't even format the laptop"? There is no need to "format" the laptop. Windows does EVERYTHING that needs to be done if you simply create the bootable media on a flash or optical drive disk as explained, and then boot to the installation media and follow the rest of the instructions exactly as outlined. If you can't do that then either you are not knowledgeable enough to be working on it and will require some assistance OR there is a hardware problem, which means nothing you do is going to be likely to fix the problem until you identify which component is causing the issue. For laptops, it's usually either the motherboard or the drive, but...
Thanks for ur reply...

For laptops, it's usually either the motherboard or the drive, but obviously anything is possible.

It's a lot more difficult to determine what exactly is wrong when it's a laptop, compared to a desktop, because most everything is integrated into the motherboard which also means that in most cases it doesn't even matter because replacement of the board or the whole unit is your only option anyhow.

So try the clean install as outlined, or if that's not possible, I'd suggest seeking assistance from a professional or experienced technician. If you have access to the BIOS, then you SHOULD be able to boot to the installation media and install a fresh copy of Windows, unless the drive is bad.
