[SOLVED] BSOD - Video Memory Management Internal

Good Day Everyone,

I'm having some issues with my Laptop. I'm consistently getting BSODs. Most recently after updating to windows 11, my BSODs have changed to Video Memory Management Internal. Before that, it was something else (apologies I forgot, but after google searching it had something to do with my video/graphics card). These errors sometimes don't occur for days, and sometimes occur 10 times daily.

I've updated all my drivers, restored my computer to an earlier point in time, and even went as low as to upgrade to windows 11 hoping that would fix the issue. Unfortunately, it only changed the BSOD error code, strangely enough!

I'm all out of ideas. Please let me know what information you require before attempting to diagnose my computer. It's still within warranty so if I cant fix this issue I plan to return it and exchange it.

its missing the CPU name lol.

wonder which GPU it is, the Nvidia or the igpu

i think the instructions still work for win 11
Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

1. Open Windows File Explore
   
2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
   
3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
   
4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
   
5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
   
6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
   
7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .
   

Upgrading windows when you having BSOD just brings them along for ride.

I don't see that error often, if at all, so it could be hardware error. Just need to see which GPU its reporting, since you have 2.
AMD gpu used for desktop, Nvidia is for games/graphically intensive applications

Its an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U With Radeon Graphics , 2100 MHz, 6 Cores, 12 Logical Processors.

I'll do that Minidump thing when I get home from work this afternoon, thanks.
