I just built my first ever pc and everything went great until I go to install windows from a usb. After changing boot priority it loads for a while then the BSOD pops up. I tried reinstalling the media, turning off fast boot options, and updating bios. My pc specs are, CPU: 12600k MOBO: MSI Pro Z690-a DDR5 RAM: Corsair 5600mhz 32GB GPU: 6700XT PSU: EVGA 750W STORAGE: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB
The next thing I plan on trying is getting a new thumb drive because my current one is a POS from Walmart. There have been other threads similar to my problem but not exactly the same. Thanks for any help.

If you're getting BSODs during Windows install then it's 100% a hardware issue. Make sure major components, like CPU, RAM, and even the NVMe drive, are compatible with the motherboard. Check the QVL lists on the motherboard support website.

I checked and everything is compatible, just to clarify it dosent even get past the Msi loading screen before blue screening, a loading wheel pops up for a second, freezes then it blue screens.
