[SOLVED] BSOD when launching a specific game

so yesterday i started getting a bsod when launching escape from tarkov, it's the only game that causes me any trouble.
i can run warzone, ride 4 and csgo all without any problems.

the bsod is a page fault in nonpaged area.
what i've tried so far:
-reinstalling the game
-memtest86
-sfc/scannow
-chkdsk /f /r
-disabled paging
-updated windows and all the drivers
-reinstalling windows

it ran fine 2 days ago and i don't remember updating anything before it started giving me problems.

specs:
ryzen 5 3600
16 gb ddr4 2600mhz
gtx 1660
asus prime a320m-k
240gb ssd + 1tb hdd (windows and tarkov are both on the ssd)

(the system is about a month old and ran the game fine before)

There have been a large number of reports related to overclocking a CPU and playing the recent update on tarkov.
Are you overclocking by any chance?

If so maybe set it to standard cpu frequency settings in the bios and see if it still crashes.
