BSOD when playing, varying error messages

This seems like a good place to ask questions about this, as Google keeps pointing me to here..

On my brand new system I keep getting crashes when playing.
It has been relatively new titles, Shadow Warrior 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

The crashes will happen even if I just load the game up and leave it around.

I get 3 different error messages, at random:

ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READONLY MEMORY
IRQL_not_less_or_equal
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_ERROR

I updated windows, uninstalled everything that I didn't need, like hardware diagnostics tools etc. updated display drivers, other drivers and ran Windows Memory Diagnostics finding nothing.
