Question BSOD

BSOD issue for past couple of months. Mostly random but often with VR gaming like Alyx.
Anyway, in my testing of the components I've come across a confusing set of responses that I'm unable to understand.
Probably due to my level of knowledge which is low end.
Anyway, I've 2X16 MB of ram. Memtest86 X 4 passes on each stick was error free.
But, performing Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool 64bit uniformly brought about BSOD while doing the CPU Load subtest.... until I took out one of the ram sticks. Then it would pass. Switching to the other stick also passed. Putting both back in, back to BSOD.
How do I explain that? Bad memory or what?

What is the stopcode given when the BSOD occurs?

Even if they are different each time, naming a couple of the stopcodes could point to a specific issue in some cases.

Occasionally different but 90% of the time what was reported by WhoCrashed was in "ntoskrnl.exe" and "pshed.dll". Today, after installation of a new CPU, it's being reported as :

not sure why, today, a graphics drv is being bad. Was never in reports before.

Have run FurMark several times without any glitches.
Monitoring temps of cpu, MB and gpu with ICue doesn't show much except with testing when they would obviously and with good reason zoom up. GPU never above 85 C. CPU would, with 100% load get to 100C for some periods. I"m using a Corsair H100i water cooler which seems to be working ok.

So, I've put my system all back together (I had removed all nonessential devices) except for only running with 1 X 16 Gb mem stick and all runs well. Passes Intel CPU testing tool with no problems. Played over an hour of Alyx VR without any issues. Put the other stick in, and voila, BSOD. Doesn't matter which stick I use, as long as only 1.
