BTX-style ATX cases.. where are they?

But totally worth it, I will never need to buy a new case for my main machine! (Ok, maybe not never, but certainly not for many many rebuilds)

That Dell case is quite good, it's actually a classic Palo Alto ATX case with the custom Dell faceplate. Too bad they didn't support a standard backplate.

good choice only the P180 doesnt mount the mobo backwards

yup I know, but when I thought about it, the only real reason I wanted an upside down config was that the cooler air flowing in from the bottom of the case would hit the hottest components first, and also I wanted to be able to see the "pretty" side of my PCI cards.

Choosing a case without windows eliminated my second concern and housing the hard drive and PSU in a separate enclosure (re: separate air chamber) solved the first. The P180 includes an air tunnel that channels cold air right where it's needed most I think, and the aesthetics of the monolithic black tower sitting next to my desk have proven to be quite acceptable to me.

Holy crap-hole, that's a lot of drive bays. Who the hell needs that kind of stora... wait, lets think about where I am. Still, that's a lot of... everything. I don't have enough hard drives in my whole house to fill that case!

I have over 30 running at all times, course only 2 in that case.....right now at least.....
