Anyone have any build suggestions within a 400-500 (max 700) dollar price range? I’m not gaming heavily, will mostly be used for League and the like. I’m also interested in those preassembled computers but I can’t find any in a decent price range. As I said it not going to be used for graphic heavy gaming, so it doesn’t need many bells and whistles. Just something to get the job done without any issues.

under 500, 256gb SSD, 4 actual cores, it should do anything you request. a dedicated GPU can be added when you feel you need one

an AMD based system, the CPU may require a boot kit from AMD and a BIOS update before the motherboard will work.
the AMD system will have better graphics performance but you must deal with the BIOS issue
the rest of the system is the same as above

Then there is always the refurbished units from newegg like so, example only.

Solution
I'd do the AMD build and go for a 2400G.
I would get 3000mhz RAM with ryzen especially with the onboard graphics.

a 120g ssd is too small of a ssd now. I have one and windows 10 will eat 30g of that 120g ssd. if your going to add a gpu go with a good 650w power supply. a low wattage power supply will make you pull the old one out when you upgrade to a gpu. with a ssd at some point add a standard drive as a data drive. ssd have limit on writes.

Here you go, Just under $700.
