Hi,

How would you rate this build for a pure gaming PC with budget around $600?
any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

things to consider.. i don't care for 2 GPU's, nor OC'ing at least not for now..i'm a noob
i already have a case and a HDD

Mobo: ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3 AMD 970 $100

GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 $250

PSU: RAIDMAX Blackstone series RX-700AC 700W $65
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152042

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) $50
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113287

CPU: AMD FX-4300 Vishera 3.8GHz $129
www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113287

SSD: $100

(considering to leave SSD out cause i dont mind the loading times in games)

thankyou

thanks for the info. i will look for another PSU from one of those brands.

May i ask why you would get an fx6300?. I read that gaming does not usually make use of the extra cores on a cpu.

I'd suggest getting something like this instead of the AMD build since you are not interested in overclocking..
