Hey guys

I've been playing with the thoughts of buying a new gaming pc but I just don't own the knowledge of a good priced-budget gaming pc and which components may be of a lower value etc. so I've come to ask for your assistance.

My budget is about +- 1000 euro and I live in Belgium so I think in terms of shipping etc it will also reduce a lot of the cost buying within the EU, right?

Or is there any websites you guys can refer me to where good quality/budget pc's are premade?
Is it a good idea to buy an SSD for my windows & games and SATA for all kinds of other software/files etc.?

Thanks in advance!

You're a short way from Germany. Buy the parts from there. I wouldn't recommend buying from Holland as the prices are a bit steep.
Stay away from prebuilt Medion/Aldi and build your own. Get something based on a FX63xx OR if budget allows an i3/i5 skylake. GPU wise i;d suggest r9 285/380/380x minimum 4GB. Ram - 8 GB or 16 GB if budget allows. You can purchase SSD / aftermarket cooling and other accesories later - make sure the core of the build is where most of your money goes.

I don't like prebuilds due to most having low quality power supplies.

What i like:
Good CPU/GPU combination
Use of SSHD
Great motherboard for the price - excelent sound / lan and powerful VRMs

What i dislike
K cpu paired with non-Z97/87 motherboard makes the "K" CPU useless as you won't be able to overclock it so you're spending money for a K part when you can get a less expensive i5 thats non-k and just as powerful on that motherboard
Unknown PSU - never trust a PSU just because the seller says its a "brand name". What brand? What model? It matters much.

Take a look at these - more balanced in terms of cpu/motherboard

You can overclock the build in the first link adding a little longevity to the system. If thats not your cup of tea then second system should do.

Thanks to everyone who responded including wisecracker and logainofhades, but I believe my interest goes to the GamingLine i5-4690K-SSD-GTX970 (http://www.snogard.de/produkte/SNOGARD-GamingLine/SYSTEM-GL3776/GamingLine-i5-4690K-SSD-GTX970.html) considering its a pre-build computer, decent price for the components I believe? Or do you guys think this one is over budget for what it offers, is the PSU 550w good enough? The "K" with a processor tells you that it can be overclocked or is this pre-build pc already overclocked?

A ton of thanks to you guys to help me but I'm really not that trustworthy with PC's overall, I know some "general/basic" stuff and what he consists out of which basically is the reason I'm thinking to go for a pre-build because the money is from my brother & computer is for my brother so don't wanna go and gamble with his money if I'm able of puting a system together myself. :p

Although thanks again guys for the suggestions and please tell me if the GamingLine i5-4690K-SSD-GTX970 will set me for the next 2-3 years of decent/good quality of gaming on high res etc.!

This is the last setup I'm going to trouble you with checking on if its decent and future proof?
I think this is a payable price for myself, I checked prices via pricepicker and they're decent for the warranty given by the website where I'm going to buy it etc so I just really would like to know if you think this system is good?
