Budget Gaming PC Build (Aus) advice needed

G'day fellow members of Tom's,

After a long period of saving I am finally able to buy myself a PC sufficient for my gaming needs. And I would greatly appreciate the input of others to help me make a suitable decision. Please remember that I live in Australia, so the prices are quite different to those of US stores.

Budget: $1000

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred website: CPLonline.com.au

Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia

Parts preferences: I do prefer AMD to intel simply for the Price/performance ratio.

Overclocking: Most likely

SLI/Crossfire: No

Monitor Res: 1680x1050, upgrading to 1920x1080 in the near future.

Games I plan to play: Dayz, BF4, Arma III, Planetside 2, Rust and maybe a few MMO's on the side.

Personal comments: Would like cheap but suitable components to increase airflow and cooling due to the temperatures upwards of 35c for the better part of the year. I also quite like the look of the R9 280x, especially since BF4 and AMD are partnered.

Reason for upgrading: All of my computers can't even run low end games such as Minecraft and I wish to move away from console gaming.

If you wanted to get under $1000 then the same build with a gtx760. having amd partnered with MF4 doesnt mean squat, the game runs terrible on most systems, even high powered ones, the mantle patch is still out of sight. however the nvidia card will be better for arma games and minecraft. If you didnt want to OC, then a lower end I5 is as fast as a fully overclocked fx6300

you did mention you wanted to oc, between the power supply not having enough juice for a well oc'd 8 core cpu, and the motherboard not having enough power to drive more than 125w, you wont be able to oc much. i would just opt for a lower end I5 and cheap motherboard for better fps at 85w......
Also look at MSY computers, its the cheapest place around in AUS, they deliver but your best of going there and not having to pay for delivery, there are stores newr most major cities. I get all my stuff through them.
that cheap no name ram you picked is questionable too, just spend a bit extra and get something you know is going to be compatible with the motherboard.

also with case be care full of how there laid out. the antec one case i have that case is a nice case if your not ging to use long gpu cards.
