Though 3470 is not 'k' model, still it's slightly oc'able.
 
:lol: slightly is the key word.It's a good choice for someone not interested in overclocking imo. ;)If interested - Intel Core i5-2500k and Intel Core i5- 3570k you know that those are just about the best processors you can get for the money today. With plenty of performance, top notch overclocking capability and enough horsepower to run any game you throw at it, the choice is a no brainer.
