Looking for a high capacity to low cost budget SSD , I will be running mostly games on it and will be doing a little photoshoping for games. Motherboard is ASUS Sabretooth X 58 motherboard , official list does not give high capacity models.
Consider yourself lucky. Despite having a grand total of 8 SATA ports, only two ports are rated at SATA 3 6Gb/s. Those two gray colored SATA 3 6Gb/s ports use a Marvell 9128 controller instead of an Intel controller embedded in an Intel chipset. Synthetic benchmarks may be a bit lower than advertised.
I normally recommend Samsung solid state drives. Samsung drives perform well and have a proven track record. SanDisk and Crucial are also worth considering.
I maintain an ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link:
500/512 GB - Samsung 850 Evo or Crucial MX200
1 TB - Mushkin Enhanced Reactor.
You'd be better suited using a SSD as a system drive and a fast 7200 RPM drive for most games. I think a 256 is a nice balance for a system drive, and you can fit a couple games that you want to launch really fast on it. If not, then a 512 would be all that I'd go for at the current prices.

I am looking to put ALL WWE 2K16 content on this drive when it is released for PC. Will the 256 work or will I need more room?
