Build a basic CPU

What about books? I'm interested in doing a similar project and would also like to do more with it. Perhaps even go to the extent of building a completely working computer. I understand making a full adder and a full subtractor. The multiplexer is a little confusing but I have learned how to make one as well. I have been using a program to build circuits and some of the things I come across are not 100% correct, like the video link to YouTube in a previous post/answer. I would like to get some book titles and maybe some more useful sites.
