Build based around i7 and r9 280x

Hi, if somebody could finish this PC build i would be very thankful. I have chosen both a very powerful graphics card and processer and would like the rest of the build to not be to expensive because of this.

Rig will be used solely for gaming, streaming, recording and a little editing. If you think i would be better off with an i5 or a different graphics card etc please tell me why and give me advice, i am a noob.

Would prefer to keep the rest of the components around the £400-£500 range.
Prefer Amazon for parts or any UK based websites.

Also the new 2011 should arrive on Sept 14.
For now you're better off with a socket 1150 Haswell
Get a R9-290 if you're going to spend that much on a Sapphire R9-280x Toxic

anyway, id say look at getting the 4970k instead of the 4820k. there isnt really a good reason to get a socket 2011 machine unless you need 64gb of ram, lots of pci-e lanes, and/or a 6 core i7.

i'll throw a build together in pcpartpicker and see if you like it. im guessing total budget would be around 1000 total?

heres a quick rough draft build. i suggest choosing a case you like, since your the one looking at it, so we can base the build around that. also, fit an r9 290 into the budget as well.

also, if your recording, i suggest getting an nvidia card because it has shadowplay. i suggest this card, about the same as the 290:

its a little slower than the 290, but the frame rate drop when recording will be at most a few fps with shadowplay

+1, but what is so good about ShadowPlay? AMD cards also have Mantle so if you want to play Battlefield 4 you will enjoy it.

it depends on the features youd rather have when choosing amd vs nvidia. shadowplay allows you to record without a large drop in fps (which happens while using many other recording programs). its helpful when recording alot of different stuff. also, mantle is very good in the games supporting it, which there arent many. in my opinion i wouldnt use shadowplay, so id go amd at the price point, but its something that the op might find useful
