Instead of a 120GB SSD and a 500GB HDD, I recommend a 250GB SSD.

Do not use any power supply that comes with a case.

-You might be happy enough with 8GB of RAM, but 16 is certainly not going to hurt.
-SSD brand is sketchy, I'd stick with Crucial, Samsung or Intel, personally, though I'm sure there are plenty of other safe brands. I'd personally rather have a 240GB SSD than a 120gb + 1TB HDD, but YMMV. 240GB SSDs available for ~$60 and 480GB for ~$120.

What storage you buy is up to you. I find I can get by nicely with only a 240GB SSD, and because of that, I'd much rather have a 240GB SSD than a 1TB HDD and 120GB SSD, personally. A 480GB SSD is not very much more than the cost of a 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD, and is quickly becoming the most cost effective size (lease $ per GB).

I have a 500GB hybrid drive in my closet right now, unused. It's a little better than a conventional HDD, but the solid-state cache is only 8GB, and it doesn't help until the drive learns your usage patterns. Any new files you put on the drive will be accessed no more quickly than on a traditional mechanical drive for the first few days or even weeks, and after that, only a small amount of them will make it into the cache, which is not generally as fast as a normal SSD.

I mostly play LOL and an ocasional RPG like skyrim or sth. So an ssd would give me more fps while gaming or is it just about launching apps faster and such?

In some games, an SSD will give you an advantage because you'll land in the map far sooner than other players. In Skyrim, there will be far shorter loading screens when moving between areas and in/out of buildings. In World of Warcraft, an SSD can prevent stuttering and hitching, from the game hitting the hard drive frequently for small texture files. For the most part though, an SSD just makes general desktop usage much more pleasant.

All right you convinced me. Im going to buy a 250 ssd. Any other change youd make to the build?

Yeah Ive been told that PSUs do not go alone when they die 😛. I like the idea, prpbably will study that post a little bit more. All right if you dont have anything else to add, I want to tell you I really appreciate you taking the time to help me make a good decision. Thanks a lot guys!

Wow
"The Z170 board supports faster RAM which is worth a little extra performance, but I don't think it's very cost effective."
You do realize ram in games means jack squat huh.
There is so much mis-information and statements made that if you dont know nothing, you better get to knowing something.
