CPU: I5 2500k
MObo: GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 8gb (2x4GB) 1600
HDD: Samsung F3
PSU: OCZ EliteXStream 800W
Case: NZXT Gamma

Currently don't have a GPU, but I plan to pick a couple up at some point (most likely a GTS 450 first and then something else later)

is the RAM fine for the mobo?

Do you need a dvd drive? Everything listed is compatible, but may I make a suggestion? This combo suits your needs, and you could buy ore ram if you want 8 gigs.

Also, That case has been getting less than stellar reviews. The one I listed Is the Tom's Hardware 2010 Reccommended buy. As long as you can sacrifice some bling.

Here is a good dvd drive if you need one.

I was just gonna pick up a cheap Lite-On or LG (Both or $19 with free shipping). And Newegg seems to have pretty good reviews for teh Gamma. Where are you finding hte non-stellar ones?

Yeah, thanks for all the input in the other thread. I just figured a separate thread would get a quicker reply. Ordered the F3, dvd drive, and G.Skill Sniper for $125. Up to $385 right now on my build and I need a PSU and case. Still think the Gamma is a good bet? Amazon has it with free Prime shipping for $37. I'll probably pick up the OCZ EliteXStream once the stuff from NewEgg gets here as I drive by Microcenter everyday when I head home from work.

If you guys have any other recomendations on the case or psu just let me know. But I'd like to keep it at a $100 max for both. Cheaper is better at this point as I still will be buying a GPU in about a month or so.

Got all the pieces ordered. Ended up with:

Intel i5 2500k
Gigabyte GAz68MA
GSkill 8gb (2x4gb) 1600 Sniper DDR3
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB HDD
XFX Core 650W Power Supply
Lite On DVDRW
NZXT Gamma
(Will buy) ATI Radeon HD6790

After rebate its at $470 (still need to buy GPU).
