Hi,
I'm helping my friends get into pc gaming, both are looking for 21.5inch 1080p monitors, as well as wifi, either onboard or via network card, only difference is one for £700 and the other for £500, they can go slightly over if need be.
Many thanks.

what games are your friends looking to play? You can either get an okay GPU and go with an Intel build or get a good GPU and go AMD build which is still capable of playing games on high settings. The only down side is that AM3+ is a dead end until Zen launches later this ear. I guess it's still ok if they plan to keep the PCs for 2-3 years.

no price for windows shown mate so the build is actually over 600 uk pounds

your 700 build doesnt include a hard drive

thats what id do with 700 quid myself
the 500 build with a monitor & windows is plain & simple not going to be intel, the amd 860k is about the only cpu youll do in that price range imo
