Build for Cakewalk Sonar and Music Production/Editing/DAW

Ok, I finally raised enough money to build what I hope to be a DAW for multi track music recording/ editing that'll last another 10 years... Can you guys give me the most bang for my buck for 1200 bucks or under? AMD or Intel does not matter...

If you want it to last 10 years, you might consider Intels X99 platform. Expensive, but the most powerful and it supports xeon e5 chips along with the i7 8 core.

Do you think an i7 4790s and the Asus x97 Deluxe Mother Board with about 32 gigs of ram do it?
