Build for WoW multiboxing 5 accounts

Hello! I am wanting to build my own computer b/c I would love the challenge. Plus, I am tired of computers overheating and lag. Here's what I was thinking, please let me know if any of this is over kill or if there are better options:

-Intel core i5-3570k ivy bridge processor
- Asus P8Z77-V Motherboard
- Corsair builder series CX600 600W power supply
- Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
- Western Digital 64MB hard drive
- Zotac GeForce GTX 650 ti boost card

That should do fine, it doesn't take too much to multi box WoW, and I take it you mean a WD 64 GB, not MB, hard drive. Other than that just remember if you have any extra money to put it towards your gpu, the simple most important piece of a gaming build. When upgrading parts, you will see the most improvement in upgrading your gpu. Play on Darkspear by any chance?

I play on Misha (Alliance) and Blade's Edge (Horde).

I am just worried about bottlenecking. I have the funds to get a better GPU.

Well the only thing that would bottle neck is the GPU, if you have the funds, I would really consider upgrading it, you will notice the most improvement from upgrading that one part, everything else is great.

Depends on how much money you have to spend. If its a lot, maybe go with the 7970, top performing card below ones for $1000. If you don't have that much then maybe a 7870 or 7850. If you insist with Nvidea maybe a 660 or 670 if you can spring for it. Just remember your gameplay will be baits mostly off of this part.

Not a bad choice, my 2 year old laptop ($1000 at the time) has way worse graphics than that card, or any newer ones for that matter, and I can run WoW just fine on all medium settings, or some low/some high with just fine FPS, can't imagine what you could do with a newer card on WoW.

With your price range i would suggest getting a non-overclockable cpu/mobo and spending the extra on a better gpu.

I plan on multiboxing 5 accounts. On my Asus laptop I can multibox 2 accounts with no problem, but when I try with 3 it lags real bad. My price range for the build is under $2,000. Right now, I am nowhere near that! Lol I was wanting to keep the graphics card under $500 if possible.

This is a solid gaming build. You will be able to run almost any game at max settings with high and smooth FPS. Also leaves you a little room for upgrades. Let me know if you have any questions about the build, or my reasoning behind certain parts over others, it's almost identical to mine don't worry if I don't respond right away, working.

Well you sure won't be disappointed with this build. Best gpu if you don't want to spend $1000, beautiful case, plenty of room, plenty of air flow, plenty of power from the psu, nice ssd for quick boot ups / application launches / load screens. Solid build over all, make sure to ask me any questions you may have to make sure it's the right one for yoU!

So I've heard, but you could always go with the newer "gaming" version of this board that's brand new, maybe some of the problems have been worked out in that.

Yeah its possible, maybe take a venture to the MSI owners thread and ask. I have always used Gigabyte and they have served me well, so it is what I use and recommend.

There aren't a lot of blue cases that I would recommend, however you can always buy a regular case and add some blue LED fans.

Blue LED Rosewill 120 fans light up the case very nicely. Or if you go with watercooling you could do some neat things like clear tubing with blue coolant, or vice versa.

Reading I love that case is because its white, so to me, it accents any color you want nicely. I have UV LEDlighting in mine with UV reactant tubing, so my case has a very dark, subtle purple glow inside, which I think looks amazing. 😛

That's a very nice case as well, nicely lit up blue so if you don't want to fuss with all of these led fans and led strips you're good to go

It's a good case, but the cable management is terrible. The CoolerMaster HAF X Blue Edition is pretty similar, and I would take it over the 1200.
