Hi all,
My PC is starting to die (Maximus VII Hero 00 error code) and I was planning to build a new PC for some time anyway. Having dome some research and putting components together, I was hoping someone with experience could glance over the components and hopefully catch if I've chosen something incompatible or not fit for purpose.
Here's the components:
My concerns:
I'd really appreciate if anyone who has done a build with this case and motherboard could share their thoughts and advice.
Update: It will primarily be used for work - coding and virtualisation. Gaming wise, my monitor is 3440x1440 and I'm looking for stable 60+ fps in recent AAA games at max or ultra settings.
Thanks in advance for any comments or thoughts - my hardware game is a bit weak lately.

Here's the components:
Case: Thermaltake Core V21 Matx
Mobo: ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-G GAMING (Wi-Fi AC) LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 Z370 microATX
CPU: Intel BX80684I78700K 8th Gen Core i7-8700K Processor
Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 240mm
SSD: Samsung (MZ-V6E250BW) 250GB EVO PCI Express 3.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive
GPU: ASUS STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-Gaming Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
PSU: Corsair CP-9020091-UK RM650x 650 W 80 Plus Gold Certified Modular 135 mm
RAM: Corsair CMR16GX4M2C3200C16 Vengeance RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0
My concerns:
Will it all fit in the case - especially GPU?
Are there any compatibility issues?
Is the GTX 1070 really worth the price premium over 1060 (~£120)
The mobo doesn't have a m.2 cooler
Will all this work with the Aura protocol?
Is there better RAM I should be looking at
