What is the best 1080p?
I7 8700k or i5 8600k or 8700 non k
Geforce Rtx 2060
Upcoming games 5-8 years long enough

Of these, the 8700k. Best by performance per dollar, Ryzen 2600. Best keeper without going nuts with the price, Ryzen 2700. Please don't pick an i5.

The graphics card, the better, the best.

Anyways, bad timing for buying a PC. Third generation Ryzen processors, expected to be much better in performance per dollar and maximum performance are coming this summer, and this year are also coming the next 7nm AMD GPUs (not the Radeon VII "teaser card", the actual RX 6XX or whatever its name will be) which are probably going to be a huge improvement in performance per dollar and maximum performance for AMD cards. Additionally you will have much more options for a monitor with hardware video syncronization than getting a Nvidia card (G-Sync and top Freesync monitors for Nvidia cards, Freesync for any AMD).

The 8700k is the best of the bunch, but they will all perform within a few fps of each other. So the 8600k/9600k would be the better value. For long term, I would look at the 9700k, but it is overpriced.

The 8700k is the best cpu for high FPS (144Hz/FPS) and should therefore last the longest. However 5-8 years, highly unlikely. If you look back 5-8 years at CPU’s that used to deliver 100+ FPS with a good gpu you are now lucky to average 60fps in the latest AAA games.

As for Ryzen 3000 how long do you want to wait. It could be 6 months before it is actually available.
