My PC was dying, not dying, now dying and I'M DONE!!!!

Time to bite the bullet and order. I've tweaked my previous builds to this:

Case : Antec Solution SLK3000-B Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

DVD Writer : LITE-ON 16X DVD±R DVD Burner Black ATAPI/E-IDE Model SHW-160P6S-04 - Retail

RAM : CORSAIR XMS2 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model CM2X1024-6400 - Retail x2

MB : ASUS P5B Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

PSU : FSP Group (Fortron Source) AX500-A, 2.0 version, 2 SATA, PCI Express, 500W - Retail

CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M sharing L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail

Vid Card : ATI 100-437807 Radeon X1950PRO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Video Card - Retail



Ordering tonight or tomorrow. Anything look wrong here? This rig will be for gaming 99% of the time.

Memory: Do you plan on overclocking? If not, get some cheaper DDR2 667 memory.
PSU: That PSU is way overpriced for the quality of it. For 10 bucks more, you can get this Hiper 580W which can handle alot more amps. In fact, I don't think the PSU you picked has enough amps for your system. Or look at Enermax, Thermaltake, Antec. Get a PSU with at least 500W but with 18A or better on both rails.

Everything else looks good.
