Build questions m.2 or lower GPU

Hello, there!

I wanna build a new PC for games and some C++/ Arduino codeing. I wanna learn some new stuff about those. So, i decided to make a medium build, that is pretty good in my opinion.

First of all i bought a Ryzen 5 1400 3.2 Ghz some days ago. I wanted this one and i got a nice 50% off for one of those.

Now the real configuration that i wanna talk about.
Ryzen 5 1400 3.2 GHz.- already bought it, i will not change it.
RAM Mermory Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB RAM DIMM DD4, 2400 MHz, CL 16, 1.2V, Red - I think that;s enough, i don't think it is necessary to switch it. Really good RAM Memory from what i heard about it. I wanna take this one because i will upgrade to 16 GB in the future.I don't want dual kid now, because my motherboard got only two
Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-D3V, Socket AM4 - Good one in my opinion, it supports the CPU, big enough for the GPU, 2 RAM Slots (it should be 4, but it is OK :). ). If I will really want, i heard that i can OC on this one (I am not interested to do this, but in the future if i wanna do this, it will be good to try it on this motherboard). As i said, i will upgrade in the future to 16GB RAM (2x8 GB)
MSI Radeon RX 580 Armor OC, 8GB DDR5 256-bit A good one, many times compared whit the GTX 1060 6GB RAM 192-bit, but i decided to chose this one, because of the 8GB RAM, that can be kept more years. In my opinion this one can be use for the next 4 years, but the GTX 1060 6GB 192-bit will be use like 3 years or 3 years and a half of a one. Correct me if i am wrong, but anyway, i am a AMD lover.
HDD 1TB 7200RPM WD Blue A basic one, really good and pretty fast. I really had one in th past it was very good, so i don't wanna make any change about this.
nJoy Woden 650, 650W, 80+, Gold I don't have that much information about it, but i really hope it is a great one. i heard that is is pretty good one, but of course i am sure that this can easily give enough power to all the configuration.
Case SilentiumPC Regnum RG2W, wondow, mid tower , black A basic one, no lights, 3 fans and i can add 3 more if i want, but if all will be fine, I wouldn't.

I cannot add more money for the PC Build, i am sorry, but i can't, so i wait for you opinions.

So, the questions are:

1. What should i do?
a) Keep the actual GPU and get a SSD M.2 in the first upgrade (2-3 months)
b) Get a lower GPU in price and take a SSD M.2 right now.
Mention: I want a M.2, 120 GB most probably.

2. The GPU request a 8 pin connection and i the nJoy 650W it is a 6 pin + 2 pin. Is it the right one? I have to say that i don't know about this connection.

3. Dose the case is OK? I mean, all the components are small enough to be able to be put in the case?

4. If i will keep this build, without to take a lower GPU and a M.2 SSD, what should i upgrade first? The memory from 8GB to 16GB or adding a SSD?

I mention that i wanna play Counter, GTA V, Battlefield (the new one), Dead by daylight, FIFA, Overwatch, Star Wars Battlefront, Warframe and some lower stuff as multimedia, codeing etc.

I am sorry if i posted in the wrong forum category, but i am new on the forum.

I wish you the best, Vlad from Romania! 😀
Have a great day!

Solution
GPU: I don't see any reason to prefer an Rx 580 8GB over a GTX 1060 6GB. Performance is about the same and the VRAM difference doesn't matter. By the time a game requires more than 6GB VRAM. Either GPU will be far too slow to play it well. As it stands I'd take whichever is cheaper. In this case the GTX 1060 6GB is cheaper.

Motherboard: I'd get one with four RAM slots and known for good overclocking support.

PSU: I'd stick with a well known and reliable make and model. One with good professional reviews. Quality matters more than stated watts...
A single 8GB DIMM hurts your performance in gaming. Don't assume you can "upgrade" RAM in the future. The DIMMs may not cooperate. Ryzen is still pickier about RAM than Intel. If you think 8GB is sufficient, then buy a matched set of two 4GB DIMMs.
A 120GB SSD is too small. You have to spend too much time making sure you don't run out of space. Get at least a 240GB.
The 580 may be more graphics card than you need. You didn't specify what resolution and refresh your monitor has.

Thanks for responding to me! :)

I don't think 8GB is really enough, that's why i wanna take 8 now (only one memory) and 8 in the future.
My monitor:
Refresh rate: 60 or 75, i don't really know exactly, not 144 for sure.
Resolution: I wanna play in 1080 anyway.

I will see if i have some memories in that price and i will change it. (A 8GB memory, because i wanna add 8 more in the future.)

Hi! :)

Yes, i bought the CPU, only the CPU.
My budget: about 600 EUR, max 610 - 2800 - 2850 RON
All the components will be bought from a Romanian site: emag.ro

Even if you were to OC or get a faster CPU in the future. A good quality PSU is a very important component for system stability.

Case: Didn't see the exact model you listed. The one I selected should work.

RAM: Although dual channel is better. The price increase is absurd. I stuck with single channel.

HDD: Doesn't really matter. It's still 7200RPM and 1TB. Just trying to save some money.

As for future upgrades. I'd take a larger SATA SSD over a smaller M.2 NVMe SSD. The real world performance difference is too small to matter.

Solution

Well, that's a pretty good idea and i will really get some information about those components. I will wait for some more ideas from other readers and if no one answer anymore, i'll pick this one as the best answer. :) Thank you and have a great day!
