Hello fellas. I'm looking to build a brand new PC. My wife damaged my monitor and I bought a 4k Samsung Q7OR TV. So I can't have a weak video card. Must be 4k and future proof. I'm thinking of getting RTX 2080 super. My question is what ram CPU and mobo should I buy??? They say 9900k is the best but it gets only like 5 frames than the 2nd best cpu which costs less. So basically I want the highest 4k gaming frames but for descent price. Thanks.

Solution
Ok I guess then I should get the rtx2080ti. Isn't 32 GB of RAM is overkill? I heard 16gb should be fine. Also I forgot to mention that the mobo should have wifi and Bluetooth since I use my PS4 controller for playing games.

Is ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Blower 11G good for $1300 Canadian?
16gb is fine if you are only running the game, but some games do consume a lot of RAM on higher resolution, or atleast that is my experience and that becomes a concern especially if you are multitasking or have a lot of browsers open alongside. Remember, yyour system always reserves some RAM for background operations. You can start with 16gb if you want and if the requirement arises, you can add another 16gb down the...
On higher resolutions like 4k, the GPU becomes the bottleneck rather than the CPU. So, the significant factor would be to get a CPU that supports the GPU fully without limiting its full potential. And there is nothing better value out there right now than the Ryzen 3700x... https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-7-3700x/17.html
Another factor is to have high amount of RAM for smooth gameplay on higher resolution. This should be good...

Also the difference between 3700x and 3800x is a mere $10 CAD, so you should get that. The blower fan cards are not recommended for bigger builds as they tend to run hotter. You should get a open air card for better thermals...

Thanks for all the replies folks. I really appreciate it. So I got ram mobo GPU and CPU. I know what case and sad I want. The only thing I need help on is a good power supply to run this beast. My instinct says 650w should be good.

650w might be a little too close for that kind of a machine. A quality 750w should give you a little headroom to play with...

Ok fellas I picked up my PC after it was assembled at Canada Computers. I only need 2 more things. A mouse and keyboard. It needs to be wireless. I've never used a wireless mouse and keyboard before. I will be mainly using this PC for gaming. I don't want to spend $100s because im not competing non any videogame contest. Just casual gaming. My main concern is no lag. What do you folks recommend?? Thanks

So I got everything completed but my wifi is very slow. I haven't connected the wifi antenna to the back of my motherboard. Don't know where my dumb wife put the mobo box. Would that make a difference?? I assumed that if paid over $200 for my mobo, the built-in wifi should be sufficient.....
