Building a Brand new pc for Gaming

Hello guys im helping a friend of mine build his new gaming pc my elected parts are the following:

HDD: Western digital caviar blue 1tb 7200rpm 64mb sata III 3.5
PSU: Corsair CX 500m modular 500w 80 plus bronze
CPU: intel core I5 4690 3.5ghz 6 MB skt1150
GPU: MSI randeon r9 280 x twinfrozr gaming 3gb gddr5
CASE: Aerocool qs-202
RAM: Kingston pc3-19200 2400 MHz 8gb hyperx savage red cl11 (2x4 gb) DDr3
MOBA: Gigabyte H81m-HD3 skt1150

Please give me your opinion and try to help.If you can please tell me if this is a good build and if everything is going to fit together(MOBA and Case and the Gpu) and if he should or not buy the case optional fans (I think he should 😀 ).Tks in advance

The power supply is of poor quality. It's a tier 3 in the PSU tier list, not recommended for gaming systems. Replace it with a Seasonic or XFX offering. The motherboard isn't good enough for an i5-4690. I would personally recommend it only for Pentium and Celeron builds - the H81 chipset is for budget builds only.

850 what? Dollars? Euros? Elephants?

And no, Corsair is one of the worst brands for power supplies. Only their extremely high end models (HX and AX) are any good, and they are ridiculously overpriced. The best power supply manufacturers at the low end are Seasonic and XFX.

no corsair is not the best brand, if there is one its Seasonic, but each PSU's quality should be judged individually, not taking in account the brand's reputation.

How much is the budget, where do you live or planning on getting the new PC?

850 euros in Portugal G.SKILL PC3-12800 1600MHZ 8GB AEGIS CL11 (2X4GB) DDR3 or these GEIL PC3-12800 1600MHZ 8GB EVO VELOCE CL9 (2X4GB) DDR3 im thinking about putting this rams what do u think

You can go with GTX 970, no need to settle with the r9 280x. This build was made at www.pcdiga.com , but you can search for each item at http://www.kuantokusta.pt/informatica/Componentes to see if you can find them at lower price.
The PSU you select have average/low quality, so you should avoid it.

WOW man tks alot im going with those rams the only problem is the modular psu but np and also what is the difference between pc3 12800 and 19600 .I cant find the answer on google do you know ?

You can do better than that for your friend.

Buy parts at PCdiga, they have better prices.

For a gaming build you should put your money on the GPU before any thing else.

It will be better if you go with i5 4460 and r9 280x, for example.

That PSU is too expensive, go with the XFX I mentioned, its a tier 1 PSU (build by seasonic) and probably better than the M12II. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Motherboard, if your friend really wants 4 ram slots he should go with this one: http://www.kuantokusta.pt/informatica/Componentes/Motherboards/MSI-B85-G41-PC-Mate-p-1-307258# (have better cooling system and PCIE x1, or this one http://www.kuantokusta.pt/informatica/Componentes/Motherboards/Gigabyte-GA-B85M-D3H-p-1-307223# (but this one have less heatsink.

As for the GPU, at least get him to buy a r9 290 :)

That case you select is cheaper at Mooding World, if you are not buying it there, the nox I suggested would be better, it's bigger and seems to have more native fans.

Finally, caviar blue would be a safer option for HDD
