Hey guys!! So its my first time building a computer and I would like some advice on parts and etc. My budget is around 1200-1500 (preferably 1200). Im looking to make a good gaming rig that can play any game on the market and will not get outdated in just a couple of years.

I currently have a gaming mouse and keyboard so there is no need to factor that into the equation.

Please let me know if you need any other piece of information.

Thank you!!

Ohhh im not a good person with computers so if you dont mind could u maybe expalin a bit about why you chose some parts. I heard intel is better than AMD? (generally) Is it possible to switch to Intel instead? Is the mother board also compatiable with future upgrades?
Thanks btw for the quick response!

Well yeah you can go with intel here but there wont be much of a difference since the bottleneck of your system will not me the cpu, more likely the gpu. Thats is why i save a couple of bucks on the cpu and put it in a good gpu. And the fx-8350 is a very decent cpu. If you really want to go with intel theres nothing wrong with that you can go with i5 4670k or i7 4770k but the price go up.

Ohhh i see i see. Thanks so much. I guess that switching it wouldnt matter to much. I would only play with one monitor but i would just like to hook up two so i can do something else on the other monitor while i play. I heard something about the videocard needing to be able to hook up to both monitors? Not sure

Oh thats great! so if switch the AMD processor to intel i5 4670k everything else should work great? What 2 monitors would u recommend (preferably with really thin borders). Is it possible to keep the budget around 1300-1400 even with the current setup?

Both builds are so similar i dont think there will be much difference in any i choose. I was wondering if there is a good site or youtube video that explains all the steps to building a computer and potential dangers i should look out for when i undertake this adventure =[. And any other advice anyone can offer me

lolol awww thanks though and i like how the computer is looking so far. the only thing that sucks is that with 2 monitors to the list it would be over 1500 i think =[

Look at all 3 parts on youtube from Newegg how to build a pc. Well detailed of everything you need to know. On what i know in monitors, i would try and pick one the size you want, and with low ms. Under 5 if possible.

This is what I would do. I know its on the higher end of your budget, but I think it is worth it. If you really need/want to you can save money by getting slower RAM, a GTX 770, and a 600W PSU. But it's up to you.

Thanks alot man. Ill look into those videos!

Ohhh so it seems to me that everyones builds are really similar. I really appreciate the response. I mean it depends on if i can muster up that much money. I will definitely use this build if i can get about 1500. I was wondering if anyone could try include the price of the monitors if i want a dual monitor set up. I know that some parts of the computer must be degraded in order to compensate for the price of 2 monitors but I just kind of want to know by how much and to compare. Thank you!!

Oh alright! Thanks alot i think ill try this build out. im thinking of getting a BENQ monitor. From what i hear its pretty good. I was wondering if i can possibly salvage my i5 processor from my current DELL computer?
