I am wondering if the following things would be compatible and what other EXTRAS would I need to get for this to work.

-apevia x-sniper2-gn
-ATX Gamer Power Supply 800w
-ASRock B250M PRO4 Motherboard
-i7-7400 CPU
-NVIDIA GeoForce 1060 6GB Dual-Fan
-Crucial 8Gb Ram (4GBx2)

Is there anything I would be missing from this or is this good to go?

That psu seems like one of those "I'll catch fire once you put any pressure on me" units.
Also at that pricerange ryzen is a better option.

What do you mean by b350? as in, which one? ASRock orMSI or...?

b350 is the a motherboard model that fits amd ryzen , i prefer the brands msi asrock msi and asus

Well, Gaming and Recordin/Editing. At the moment, I have a 600W power Supply, GTX 1060 6gn Dual-fan. i5-2400, LIQ77A, and 8 GB DDR3 Ram which does the job wonderfully (Can play siege on Ultra and Overwatch seems great too)
But I want to pass this PC down to someone and build one myself for a cheap price. I already have a graphics card so that isnt an issue. something cheap and affordable. The list at top came around $500, so that would be a good price range to have. (A little above or under is good too)

Also, I have NEVER seen/had Ryzen CPU's so I was wondering what fan (if it needs one) would it need and if not, what do I use to keep it at an ideal Tempeture?

It comes with a stock cooler but u can buy an aftermarkt cooler for more silience, and ebtter ocing prestation.

I think 1700 will handle most of the games with extra cores/thread

Thanks for this build! I think this would be a great build for $500! CPU can be overclocked to 3.7Ghz, More ram for a better experience on Games with Memory Leaks (Arkham Knight) and overall wonderful PC. Only thing Im wondering is if I can just go with the stock cooler for that CPU so that I could save $50.Thanks

what I assume is that you already have system with i5 2400 and you want to upgrade only CPU, mobo, RAM and PSU and you will be reusing Case, HDD, and other parts. Am I correct here? if not help me with only those parts list that you want to upgrade.

are you planning to keep only 8 gb or what?

also note OCing will also get effected by quality of mobo.
as I mention you can OC CPU with stock just little (stability depends on choice of mobo, X(highend) or B series)

I am building an ENTIRELY new PC (minus the SATA hard drive). The PC I have now is a mini MOBO and is gonna be passed to someone else. So to build a new PC, I was asking if my updated list would be the best for my purpose. All parts that I listed will be new and shipped. I looked at the Memory I listed here and it says it's DDR4 (Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz )
