System Usage from Most to Least Important:Music Production(Fl Studio, Lots of Plugins and programs running at the same time),Video Recording,Video Editing,Formatting,rendering, and the occasional game..I don't need ultra high graphic performance just yet.And light gaming(garrys mod,minecraft,dayz,battlefield 4)

Additional Comments: need enough air flow so it doesnt get hot(been looking at the 750D)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Cant video edit on my laptop,or record while im making music,all of my cpu is used up by the time I get to my mixing process, can hardly game or even watch shows in 1080p without lag.Also have run out of space very quickly.

audio processing is less threaded tasks thus it will benefit form powerful cores thus i will suggest intel i5 instead of amd fx

I'm pretty stuck on getting an amd 8350 or 6300 just because its cheaper..I'd rather not spend and extra 70$ on just getting an intel i5 when it can do about the same as a cheap amd.Plus overclock.Also I don't think I need a "Gold" Power supply just right now just something efficient that will last me a month or two. Any other suggestions with my build?

the intel based setup i suggested was70$ more just because i used much better gpu and i choose 750w psu because it will be future proof ( because you said that you want to sli and this is the reason i suggested z97 chipset board instead of h81 or b85, and with z97 you can clock locked i5 to 400MHz above stock ) and not that costly

fx8350 setup will cost you even more

lets keep other/common components aside and compare amd and intel specific parts that we will need to buy

and here is the price of amd setup
amd cpu will need a board with good vrm ( else it will run hot ) and which costs more and it will need an after market heatsink too because as you said you live in a hot place
so here is amd setup ( even if we eliminate 212evo then its still costs more than i5 )

now lets consider your usage scenario
you want to encode audio ( most important task according to your post )
so here is a benchmark
see, 8350 can't even stand against old i5
in audio benchmarks, fx8 is comparable to intel pentium series cpu

and in encoding too, i5 is not much behind ( see i5-4570 as it have same base clock to i5-4460 )

now, what if i use gpu comparable to 660 and less powerfull psu, then it will be the setup, which costs only 570$, leaving enough room for ssd, more ram or throwing i7 cpu in it
the board i used in it have purity sound 2 which provides 115dB SNR which will be good for your sound related thing

If thats the case go with the 6300 as the extra threads wont help you much. You can get stronger single threaded performance on an FX 6300 with less voltage and heat (as its 95W vs the 125W 8 cores). Overclock it.
