Okay, I'm new to PC gaming and I've been looking at gaming laptops, but they're too expensive and you can't upgrade them without buying a whole new laptop, and that's way too expensive for me. I want to build THE BEST desktop PC I possibly can with the least money required. I've heard you can build the best, high-end PC ever for $800, and someone else even said $400, so I decided I'd ask you guys. Now let me clarify a little about the pricing. I want to spend as minimal as possible, BUT I want the best PC I can build that will last me YEARS to come, so I'm willing to pay as much as needed as long as it lasts me years to come and gives me the best, high-end performance. I know I'll eventually have to upgrade, but I want to get the most years out of this high-end beast I want to build. I want the best gaming experience possible. I know you guys know what you're talking about so I'm really trusting you all. Recommend any and all accessories once you give a list of what to use in my build if you like. PLEASE put a cooler in your build, because I know I'll need one to be cooling my PC. If I don't have a cooler I know it'll get wrecked. Thanks so much guys!

That combo is not good. Mediocre case, bad choice of CPU, poor power supply, and only one stick of RAM when you need two for a dual channel system.

This would be a better use of $800:

Is that the build of a maxed out PC that will run BF4 and all those other demanding games to come for years? Or at least the best I can get for now. I wanna be able to run any and all games with no problems or lag at all. I understand that I'll have to upgrade things, but I wanna try to have this build last me 3-5 years if possible. If not, I understand and I'll upgrade the stuff that is necessary to run what I want. Like Battlefield 3/4. I'm not sure if they've released the requirements to run BF4 yet, but I wanna be able to run that stuff at top performance. I use BF4 as an example because I know EA/Dice is always pushing the limits and taking full advantage of maxed out specs.

It's not a super powerful rig but it's got the latest generation of Intel CPUs and a really good GPU for the $250 range. If you want a more powerful system you're looking at about the $1200 - $1400 range.

Dude, lay it on me, I wanna see the best I can get please. I don't mean to be demanding, I'm sorry if I am being that, I just wanna see the best I can get. Like I said, I want this rig to last me several years, so if I pay $1200-$1400 and then it lasts me like, 3 years before I have to upgrade anything, I'm all for that. Also, do you have any cooling systems you recommend?

That's not really necessary - the Titan does have the newest GK110 processor - the GTX 780 also uses this processor and it's $400 less than the Titan. But the 770 uses the older GK104 processor with a new board design and it's getting frame rates equivalent to a Radeon 7970 GHz edition. Two of them in SLI mode will get better frame rates than the Titan will for less money.

Alright, awesome. I'll definitely be doing my research and everything. I must ask a little more, just because well, I wanna know as much as possible and see all of my options and everything.

So, speaking of options, could you please look at this build and give me your feedback please? http://pcpartpicker.com/b/xE0
And would I be able to still have an insanely powerful, show-offy PC if I only had 2 video cards?
