thanks in advance :)

if you're using this for gaming, as zach said you'll want a better graphics card (say a gtx 760 or better) and a sound card isn't really required. an i7 isn't worth the extra cost over an i5 for gaming either. you could drop to an i5 4670k and drop the sound card and get yourself a gtx 770.

or drop the intell and get this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009O7YU56/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 fx 8320 for 140$ 8cores and easy overclock to 4ghz yah and the money you save hell you can go sli or crossfire if you want (dont) the 770 will be great and also you dont need a platinum power supply http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ALK3KEM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 they are having a great deal on the Corsair CX Modular PSU a 750w Modular for under 90$ thats F*cking great deal

and also that is alot of storage. do a 120 ssd for booting and things you want to run super fast then like a 1tb 7200 like the WD Black for gaming and whatever else you want to run fast then for storage what i do is just buy 2tb WD greens there cheap under 70$

I'm gonna use it for animation, 3D riggging and for gaming. I also want it to be durable enough to stand high temp since my country's climate is not so friendly.

then intel would be the way to go offers higher temps for gaming and everything but if you have that much money i would get a better GPU liek an r9 270x or GTX 760

no, an amd gpu will work just fine with an intel cpu.

also, if you aren't planning on overclocking you should consider the xeon e3 1230 v3 and an h87 motherboard. this will save you a good chunk of money that you can use to get a much better graphics card. the xeon e3 1230 is basically an i7 without the integrated graphics

So I will drop the sound card and get cheaper cpu and more powerful graphics card.

If I drop the i7 and get an i5 will it affect my overall speed?

honestly if you want the i7 performance for doing the animations and stuff, get the xeon e3 1230 v3 with an h87 motherboard. the xeon will cost about as much as an i5 4670k and perform about as well as a non overclocked i7 4770.

also this thread was set up as a discussion not a question so there is no way to pick a solution. if you had chose to post this as a question, at the bottom of every post there would be a green button to pick that post as the solution.

This would blow your configuration away, for like $25 less, OP. I left the option open for SLI in the future.
