Hey, just checking before I dive on this new build. I'm trying to keep the cost down to $1000, but windows screwed me over and made it $1100 (which I can still afford, just a hassle). I'm also making it red/black color scheme, hence certain parts chosen. Any tips/changes I should make before I order up and break out the thermal paste? Thanks for any help!

Looks very good. Only changes I'd make is faster memory, it can make a huge difference.
I'd also never buy full price for the OS, get it from Kinguin for $31.44.

What is he using the PC for? Seems good for gaming if that's what he wants to use it for. I personally have a 1060 6GB and think it works great for playing most games in high quality. Seems like a pretty fast running PC, not much I would recommend to change there, maybe just a higher rating PSU.

1080p gaming at high settings. First game we're playing together is gonna be Destiny 2 (I'm a huge destiny fanboy :3 dont kill me)

Well the build looks good to me, try to get/wait for a second opinion though, someone may know a part that could magnificently make the build better, I do know that it'll work good for 1080p high setting gaming though :)
