Building a new PC, Picked out the parts - need them blessed

Thanks for the input. ok - so I have to admit that I have been out of the PC builds for a while so I don't know a few basic things. The last machine I built was a few years a go in the core-2-duo days. Its still going strong except that when I use virtual machines, it starts lagging pretty bad pretty quick, even with the DDR2 RAM maced out on that mobo.

So, the CPU that I have selected... are you saying it will get me going without a dedicated video card, not that its what I want to do but just wanted to know. The Video card that I linked has 2 DVI ports and I have 2 monitors. So I guess my options are:

1. Stay with the CPU-integrated graphics (but then I don't know if dual monitors are supported. I see the one VGA port and one DVI port on the mobo that have selected)

2. Stay with the card that I liked in my original post because its 2xDVI but if will be a bottleneck in my machine, I want to rethink

3. Get a new dedicated GPU with 2 x DVI but I need help selecting one that doesn't break the wallet.

Any help with the GPU is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. Sorry I should have specified. I already have a PSU thats why its not listed in my list of parts on pc part picker.

With regards to the hard drives, I have four 1TB hard drives (regular SATA 7400 RPM, of course) that will come out of the current machine and will go into this one. The SSD is for the primary OS only. I do need 16 GB of RAM, trust me. I have 3 or 4 VMs that run consistently 24/7 (for the type of work that I do), each needing a 2-4GM ram of its own allocated.

The card you mentioned does not have two DVI output ports. I have a multi-monitor currently and not yet ready to give that up.

Thanks again.

You know you can plug a monitor in with something other than dvi,
And it would of helped if you said what you were doing with the pc. Just assumed gaming

If you want 2 dvi ports for some reason you will have to get an r9 380, since you werent planning on getting a graphics card i figured id start out cheaper

Not a gamer, not overclocking. Need two DVI ports because thats what my current setup is. Not willing to go VGA/analog. the two 21" monitors do not have HDMI input and not replacing my monitors at the moment so there is that.

My only weak point is video cards. I don't know what too look for when buying one. There are so many out there starting with $20s to thousands that are 2GB plus RAM and dual DVIs. so confused....

In any case, if I can't use what I have currently can I get something like EVGA GTX 750 with Dual DVI instead of the 39 380 which seems to be $200+?

Thanks so much for your input.
