Hey guys, I will be building a new PC in the summer, and I would like to ask, will I have to worry about static electricity and will I need an anti-static wrist-strap?

And my specs will be

Gigabyte Z97-D3H Motherboard
Gigabyte Geforce- 970 Windforce Graphics card
16 GB kingston hyperX Fury RAM DDR3
Intel CoreI5-4690k 3.5 ghz
EVGA SuperNOVA 750w G2 80+ GOLD power supply

So is all compatible and how high graphics will I be able to play on on the pc with games that require a lot of power? Examples: Witcher 3, GTA V. Etc..

And what could go wrong building it?

Thanks.

the build is years old.
you should go for skylake

the equivalent of your build is:
i5-6600k
gigabyte z170x sli
corsair vengeance lpx 3000mhz cl15 2x8gb
evga g2 650w (more than enough)
nvidia just released the new generation replacing the 970 with 1070 would be the best choice.
get a wd blu 1tb 7200rpm ezex for game
samsung evo 850 256gb ssd for OS
