Question Building a new system - gaming & video editing?

I've been out of the PC building game in a while, but looking to put a new system together. Not sure what components (cpu, graphics, etc) I should be looking for nowadays. I usually like to go for as new as possible so it lasts longer, but also I'm on a kind of tight budget, maybe $2k max?

I mostly will be using it for general stuff plus video editing and 3D modeling (nothing too crazy, sculpting for 3D printing) and some gaming however in reality I will probably not be playing a whole lot of games since after sitting at a desk all day, it's more comfy to play my xbox on my sofa after work. I'd still like it to be able run some new stuff with good FPS. I have a 1440p ultrawide, but I'd like to upgrade to 4k eventually some day. I've always done intel before but I think I'd be fine with AMD too, I figure they'd be about the same these days for what I need anyway. I usually prefer smaller ITX builds too if that matters.

Any recommendations on what guts be looking for?

ITX does add to the cost a bit.

Enough so, that going M-ATX would allow you to bump up another tier of GPU.

You could save some if you do not need the 4tb drive, and went with a 2tb instead.
