building a pc and the only thing that works are my fans including cpu and leds

the power button on my case also flashes once turned on, ive tried with 1 stick of ram rather than 2 in all slots.
using a gigabyte z97p-d3 motherboard with an i5 processor in a cit goblin mesh case any help will be apreciated.

Which still doesn't say much, as their are two different units, @ 500w. Neither are very good quality units, though. For future reference, it is helpful to be more specific on your hardware specs, when looking for help. It makes things easier for the people trying to help you. 😉 I would suspect you have a bad PSU. Did your case come with a speaker that connects to the motherboard header, near the power switches? One other thing you can try is a CMOS reset. Your motherboard manual will state how to do it. Just make sure your system is unplugged when you do it.
