Basically I'm building a PC for data crunching and aiml and have three graphics card options at similar rates, 3060ti, 2080 super - both 8gb and RX6750XT 12GB. I might also play VR games in future but not essential

Please recommend me which GPU to build my PC around. Even better if you could share a recommend PC parts list.

Thanks

Hey there.

It would be a tossup between the 3060ti (which is faster than the 2080 S), or the 6750xt. They both trade blows depending on the game. The RTX has better Ray tracing if that's something you like. The 6750xt has 12gb vram, and this may be important for certain games at 1440p, and prob pushes a few more FPS in the majority of games, with out RT (Pure raster)

Data crunching - needs ram and cpu cores.

Look at cpu pass mark and benchmarks for the software and decide.

Budget option with bang for buck - intel 12th gen cpu as it has more cores with both p cores and e cores. Like the 12500 or 12600 with ddr4 ram (reduced memory bandwidth). Ddr5 more memory bandwidth.

Upgradable option - am5 platform 7700 cpu with costly ddr5 ram.
